Russian Lyudmila Samsonova lost to Czech tennis player Maria Bouzkova in the third round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Guadalajara.
In the match, which lasted 2 hours and 26 minutes, Samsonova won the first set “to zero”, but lost the next two.
In the quarter-finals of the tournament, Bouzkova will face either Russia’s Daria Kasatkina or another Russian representative Anna Kalinskaya – their head-to-head match will take place later Friday evening.
