The names of the five participants have already been announced.
American tennis player Coco Gauff and Carolyn Garcia from France qualified for Final WTA Tournament.
18-year-old Gauff will be the youngest participant in the finals of the season since 2005. The American qualified for the tournament after reaching the second round of the competition in Guadalajara.
Caroline Garcia will play at the Final Tournament for the second time. In 2017, the Frenchwoman managed to reach the semi-finals of the competition. Garcia also continues to perform in Guadalajara. Although Caroline has not yet overcome the qualifying standard, four other rivals will not be able to bypass her at the same time.
In total, five tennis players were selected for the final women’s competition. The first and second rackets of the world, Iga Sventek and Ons Jaber, were the first to qualify for the Final Tournament. Later, Jessica Pegula joined them.
The final WTA tournament will be held in Fort Worth, USA from October 31 to November 7 on a hard surface. The venue for the competition will be Dickies Arena.
