The event ended for Lyudmila Kichenok and Elena Ostapenko in the quarterfinals
Ukrainian tennis player Lyudmila Kichenok completed performances in doubles at a tournament in Guadalajara (Mexico).
Together with the representative of Latvia Elena Ostapenko, Kichenok lost in the quarterfinals to the tandem from the Czech Republic – Barbora Kreychikova and Katerzhina Sinyakova. The meeting lasted one hour and 45 minutes.
The couples exchanged victories in the first two sets, after which the fate of the meeting was decided in a tie-break – Kichenok and Ostapenko could not compete with their rivals (3:10).
Earlier, performances in Guadalajara were completed by Nadezhda Kichenok paired with Belgian Kimberly Zimmermann. Their duo failed to make it to the third round of the competition.
