Coach Rafael Nadal announced that the former world number one intends to participate in the “Masters” in Paris.
As Carlos Moya noted in an IB3 interview, Rafa sees the upcoming prestigious tournament as major preparation for the ATP Finals.
The 22-time Grand Slam champion suffered an injury at Wimbledon this summer, then retired from action at the US Open in September. Since then, Nadal has only played alongside Roger Federer in the Laver Cup.
The Master in Paris starts on October 31.
