Ukrainian and Anna-Lena Friedzam lost to top seed Mikhalikova and Sudzhiadi
Ukrainian tennis player Hope Kichenok failed to reach the doubles final of the tournament WTA 125 in Mexican Tampico.
The Ukrainian, who competed with Anna-Lena Fridzam from Germany, lost to the first seed duo Tereza Mikhalikova/Aldila Sudzhiadi (Slovakia/Indonesia). Having lost the first set, Kichenok and Fridzam managed to turn the second game into a tie-break. Nadezhda and Anna-Lena were leading 4:2, but lost five of the next six draws.
Recall that in the first round in Tampico, the tandem of Kichenok and Friedsam beat a pair of Rebecca Marino and Ingrid Neil. In the quarterfinals, the couple played two match-balls against the duet of Elvin Kaliev – Renata Sarasua.
