Marchenko made it to the finals of the Challenger qualification in Bergamo, Krutykh and Sachko were eliminated

For access to the main draw, Ilya will compete with Cem Ilkel from Turkey

Ukrainian tennis player Ilya Marchenko reached the finals of the Challenger series tournament qualification in Bergamo. Two other Ukrainians at the tournament, Alexey Krutykh and Vitaly Sachkolost their fights.

Marchenko confidently defeated the Hungarian Mate Valkus in straight sets. For the entire fight, the Ukrainian did not give up a single serve of his own.

Sachko lost the first set to Frenchman Valentin Roya and then won the second set. In the final set, the Ukrainian took the opponent’s serve and led 2-0, but then lost six games in a row.

Krutykh lost to Mariusz Kopil in straight sets. The decisive contribution to the final result was made by 12 aces of the Romanian tennis player.

Marchenko will face Cem Ilkel from Turkey in the qualifying final. The matches in the main draw of the tournament will be held from October 31 to November 6.
