Ukrainian lost to Turk Ilkel
Ukrainian tennis player Ilya Marchenko did not make it to the main grid Challenger Tournament in Italian Bergamo.
In the qualifying final, Marchenko lost to Cem Ilkel of Turkey in straight sets. The match lasted two hours of playing time. During the meeting, Marchenko missed both earned break points and lost two games on his own serve.
Recall that Marchenko reached the final of the Challenger qualification in Bergamo, confidently beating the Hungarian Mate Valkus in straight sets. For the entire fight, the Ukrainian did not give up a single serve of his own.
Two other Ukrainians at the tournament, Oleksiy Krutykh and Vitaliy Sachko, lost in the first round of qualifying.
