The Ukrainian tennis player will miss an important match against the Japanese team due to illness.
The Ukrainian national tennis team will play the next match of the Billie Jean King Cup with a truncated squad.
The Tennis Federation of Ukraine announced that Dayana Yastremskaya “due to an unexpected acute illness” will not be able to participate in the match.
It will be remembered that the rivals of our athletes will be tennis players from Japan. The fight will take place in Tokyo on November 11-12.
Since there is no time for a full replacement, only three players will represent Ukraine in this match: Marta Kostyuk, Katarina Zavatskaya and Lyudmila Kichenok.
Note that Dayana Yastremskaya herself previously said that she was admitted to the hospital because of a kidney stone.
