Australian tennis player Nick Kirios resolved his legal issue with a fan he accused of being drunk during the Wimbledon final this season.
Kirios, during the match with Novak Djokovic, demanded that Anna Palus be removed from the match, claiming that judging by her behavior, she was intoxicated.
“The one in the dress, the one that looks like she’s had about 700 shots of alcohol, man!” Kirios said in this game.
Later, the woman said she would take legal action against the athlete.
Now Kirios said he fixed that problem.
– I admit that my statement was wrong, and I apologize. To make amends, I donated £20,000 to a charity chosen by Ms Palus. I will not comment on this issue anymore, – quotes the words of Kirios Daily Mail.
