Russian Speedwell Kudermetova said she felt proud after winning the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) final tournament in doubles.
The Russian tennis player, together with Belgian Elise Mertens, defeated the Czech duo Barbora Kreichikova / Katerina Sinyakova (6:2, 4:6, 11:9) in the final of the tournament held in the United States. In the super tie-break, Kudermetova and Mertens lost 2:7, but managed to win.

This season, 25-year-old Kudermetova has won three doubles titles, including two with Mertens, one with compatriot Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.
