Ukrainian passed the 104th racket of the world
Ukrainian tennis player Vitaly Sachko went out in semi-finals of the Challenger series tournament in Italian Andria.
In the quarterfinals, Sachko defeated third seed Tomas Machas from the Czech Republic in straight sets. The Ukrainian chalked up one ace, made one double fault, made three breaks and won back all eight opponent’s break points.
The victory over the 104th racket of the world Mahach became for Vitaly, who occupies the 323rd position in the ATP ranking, the highest rating this year. Sachko also won the third match in a row for the first time this season and will hold the first semi-final this year.
The opponent of the Ukrainian in the semi-final will be Leandro Ridi from Switzerland.
