This title was won after the victory of the Canadian tennis player Félix Auger-Aliassime over the Australian Alex de Minaura. The match lasted one hour and forty-two minutes. Auger-Aliassime was stronger in two sets played 6:3, 6:4.

Before that, Canadian tennis player Denis Shapovalov beat Australian Tanasi Kokkinakis also in straight sets 6:2, 6:4. The match lasted one hour and thirty minutes.

Note that for the first time since 1990, European teams did not participate in the Davis Cup final.
