Athletistic / Tennis Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk has reacted to the ATP and WTA’s decision to strip Wimbledon of ranking points due to the exclusion of Russian and Belarusian female tennis players from the competitions.

“I will say this: 80-85% of the players have nothing to do with the WTA’s decision. It’s so ridiculous it’s hard to believe. None of the player reps contacted me. Nobody asked my opinion and what I think of “It seems that Ukrainian tennis players do not exist at all. I tried to convey my position as best I could, but for the most part I feel the utter hopelessness of the situation. I’m still only 19 years old. What else can I say? It’s not easy”, Kostyuk quotes “Reuters”.

Remember that the decision of the ATP and the WTA to deprive Wimbledon of ratings was supported by the ITF (International Tennis Federation).
