The match lasted 1 hour 49 minutes and ended in victory for Azarenka with the score 6:1, 7:6. Victoria didn’t make a single ace, made 5 double faults and converted 5/17 break points. Because of Petkovic – 1 ace, 7 double faults and 2/2 break points made.
In the third round of the tournament, Azarenka will play with Swiss representative Jill Teichman. The meeting will take place on May 26 at 12:00 Moscow time.
