Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka topped Forbes magazine’s list of highest-paid female athletes of 2022, according to the publication’s website.
The four-time Grand Slam champion earned $51.1 million in one year, of which $1.1 million came from prize money and the remaining $50 million from off-court winnings.
Second was American Serena Williams, a 23-time Grand Slam winner with a total income of 41.3 million (0.3 + 41.0). The top three was closed by Chinese freestyler Eiling Gu – 20.1 million (0.1 + 20.0).
