A Ukrainian on social networks published a corresponding post with her husband, summarizing it with the phrase “The Monfils family is back to business.” Note that Elina in October gave birth to a daughter, Sky, from the French tennis player Gael Monfils.
Svitolina suspended performances at the end of March, preparing for the birth of her daughter. The Ukrainian lost the title of the first racket of the country during her vacation. Now Svitolina is ranked 240th in the WTA rankings.

Earlier, Svitolina, together with Sergei Stakhovsky, sold their rackets at a charity auction and donated the proceeds to funds to help the Ukrainian people.
Also, Elina, as a referee, held a charity match with the participation of the first racket of the world, Igi Sventek. The event helped raise about 422,000 euros to help Ukraine.
In December, Svitolina held a charity gala dinner in Monaco. During the event, 170 thousand euros were collected for generators for Ukrainian hospitals.
