Prize fund Australian Open 2023 will amount to 76.5 million dollars.
The amount of prize money for the winners of the event increased by 3.5% compared to last year. The Australian Major champion will receive $2.975 million, the same amount for both the men’s and women’s divisions.
Doubles winners will earn $695,000 per team. And in the mixed doubles, the prize money will be $157,750.
Five Ukrainians entered the Australian Open 2023 qualification – Katerina Beindl, Dayana Yastremska, Lesya Tsurenko, Daria Snigur and Katarina Zavatskaya. Angelina Kalinina and Marta Kostyuk went directly to the main draw.
Qualifying matches will start in Melbourne on January 9th. The main part of the Australian Open 2023 will take place from 16 to 29 January.
