Safiullin reached the final of the Australian tennis tournament qualifier, Rakhimova dropped out of the fight

Russian tennis player Romain Safiullin reached the final qualifier in Adelaide, Australia, beating the German Jannik Hanfmann .

The match lasted 2 hours 32 minutes and ended with the score 6:7 (2:7), 6:4, 6:4 in favor of the Russian. Safiullin had nine aces, double faulted and converted three out of nine break points.

In the qualifying final, Safiullin will play with Canadian Vashek Pospisil on the night of January 1, Moscow time.

In women’s singles, the Russian Camilla Rakhimova left the race, losing to Czech Katerina Sinyakova – 3: 6, 6: 7 (5: 7).
