The Ukrainian will play with the American Emilio Navoi for entering the main draw
Ukrainian tennis player Alexey Krutykh overcame the first round of qualification of the series tournament ATP Challenger in the Australian Canberra.
The Ukrainian beat the Portuguese tennis player in two sets Gastau Eliash. In the second game, Alexey managed to win back from the score 2:5 and win the set in a tie-break.
In the final round of qualifying, Krutykh will play with the American Emilio Navoi, seeded under the 6th number. The matches of the first round of the main draw will start on January 2.
Recall that two Ukrainians made it to the main part of the WTA tournament in Adelaide. In the first round of the main draw, Angelina Kalinina will play Victoria Azarenka, and Marta Kostyuk will face Australian Jamie Furlis.
