Martha beat Australian Forlis in three sets
Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk came out in 1/8 finals tournament WTA 500 in Adelaide (Australia).
In 2 hours and 6 minutes, Kostyuk beat the Australian Jamie Forlis. Confidently winning the first set 6:1, Martha lost in the second – 3:6. In the decisive game, the Ukrainian led 5:2, lost the next two games, and only on the third attempt completed the set and the match in her favor.
In the second round, Kostyuk will face the winner of the match between Elena Rybakina (Kazakhstan) and fifth seed Danielle Collins (USA).
Recall that Martha made it to the main draw of the tournament in Adelaide, beating the sixth seeded qualification Mayar Sheriff from Egypt.
In the first round in Adelaide, another Ukrainian Angelina Kalinina will play, who will face Victoria Azarenka.
