Iga’s last defeat was on February 16

Iga Schwentek defeated Alison Risk (6:0, 6:2) in the second round Roland Garros. For the representative of Poland, this victory was 30th in a row in WTA tournaments.

Shventek suffered her last defeat on February 16, when she lost to Elena Ostapenko (6:4, 1:6, 6:7 (4)) in the second round of the tournament in Dubai.

The record winning streak in the current millennium belongs to Venus Williams, who in 2000 reached 35 consecutive victories.

In the first round of Roland Garros 2022, Shventek defeated Ukrainian Lesya Tsurenko. In the 1/16 finals, Iga will play with the representative of Montenegro Danka Kovinic.

Schwentek became the first racket of the world in April. In the 2022 season, Iga won five tournaments in a row: in Doha, Indian Wells, Miami, Stuttgart and Rome.
