Ukrainian tennis players Angelina Kalinina and Marta Kostyuk confidently advanced to the main draw WTA 500 tournament in Adelaide (Australia).
Angelina easily defeated Anna Bondar from Hungary in the qualifying final. The Ukrainian gave only one game in each game.
Marta outplayed the sixth seeded Mayar Sheriff. In the second set, Kostyuk also dominated, allowing her opponent to win only one game.
Recall that Kalinina in the first round of qualifying knocked out another Ukrainian, Dayana Yastremska. Angelina in the second set managed to win back from 1:4, taking five games in a row. Kostyuk beat Christina Buksha from Spain in two games in the previous match.
In the first round of the main draw, Kalinina will play with Victoria Azarenka. Kostyuk will face Australian Jamie Furlis.
