Kudermetova advanced to the quarter-finals of the Adelaide tournament, starting the match with Andreescu 0:4 in the first set

Russian tennis player Veronika Kudermetova reached the quarter-finals of the tournament in Adelaide, beating Canadian Bianca Andreescu .

In the first set, the Russian lost four games in a row, but then managed to win the match with the score 6:4, and the next one dried up. So, after an unsuccessful start to the match, Kudermetova won 12 games in a row.

Kudermetova’s quarter-final rival will be the winner of the match between Elena Ostapenko (Latvia) and Irina Begu (Romania).
