Rybakina missed a win over Ukrainian Kostyuk at a tournament in Adelaide

Kazakh tennis player Elena Rybakina failed to reach the quarter-finals of the Adelaide tournament, losing to a Ukrainian Marte Kostyuk .

Taking the first set in a tie-break, Rybakina then lost the next two games, giving up a total of 4 games on her serve. The match lasted 2 hours and 23 minutes.

In the quarterfinals, Kostiuk can play with the tournament’s first seed, Ons Jaber of Tunisia, if she beats Romania’s Sorana Kirstea in her match.

Russian Veronika Kudermetova also has a chance to reach the quarter-finals of the tournament – currently she meets Canadian Bianca Andreescu.
