Duet Kichenok and Belgian Zimmermann failed to cope with the fourth seeded
Ukrainian tennis player Hope Kichenok finished in doubles tournament WTA 500 in Adelaide (Australia).
In the 1/8 final match, Kichenok paired with Kimberly Zimmermann from Belgium lost to the duet from Japan Shuko Aoyama / Ena Shibahara, who was seeded under the fourth number.
The match lasted 1 hour 17 minutes and ended in two sets. The Ukrainian and the representative of Belgium played the fifth joint match and suffered their third defeat.
Next week, Kichenok and Zimmermann will play together at the WTA 250 tournament in Hobart.
Recall that the sister of Nadezhda – Lyudmila Kichenok made it to the quarterfinals in Adelaide. Together with the Latvian Elena Ostapenko, the Ukrainian beat the American duet Caitlin Christian / Sabrina Santamaria in the 1/8 finals.
