Ukrainian plays in tandem with Elena Ostapenko
Ukrainian tennis player Lyudmila Kichenok paired with Elena Ostapenko from Latvia made it to the third round of doubles at the French Open.
In the second round of Roland Garros, the Ukrainian-Latvian duo won Xin Yun Han and Lin Zhu from China in three games – 0:6, 6:1, 6:2. The fight lasted an hour and 23 minutes.
In the next round, Kichenok and Ostapenko will play against the winners of the match Emina Bektas (USA) / Tara Moore (Great Britain) – Gabriela Dabrowski (Canada) / Juliana Olmos (Mexico).
Earlier singles Roland Garros left the last Ukrainian. This happened after the defeat of Angelina Kalinina from Jessica Pegula.
