Ukrainian tennis player Lyudmila Kichenok lost in the semi-finals doubles tournament WTA 500 in Adelaide (Australia).
The Ukrainian, along with Elena Ostapenko from Latvia, lost to tennis players from the USA Eisha Muhammad and Taylor Townsend. The couples exchanged won sets and the fate of the fight was decided on a super tie-break, in which the Americans won 10-8. Kichenok and Ostapenko were ahead 5-2 and then 7-4, after which they lost six of the next seven draws.
Recall that in the quarterfinals Kichenok and Ostapenko defeated the duo Ekaterina Alexandrova / Zhang Shuai. Next week, tennis players will perform together at the second WTA 500 tournament in Adelaide.
