In doubles, Katerina lost in the final match
Ukrainian tennis player Katerina Volodko reached the final ITF W40 Tournament in Nonthaburi (Thailand).
In the semi-finals, the Ukrainian beat the representative of Thailand Lanlan Tararudi in three sets. Katerina won the first game in a tie-break, but lost the second. In the decisive set, the Ukrainian did not give up a single game to her opponent.
Katerina also played in the doubles final of this tournament. Together with the Japanese Hiroko Kuwata, the Ukrainian lost in two sets to the duo of En Shuo Liang (Taiwan) and Yesin Ma (China).
In a singles draw, Volodko had previously beaten local tennis player Punnin Kovapitukted, and then passed Dalila Jakupović from Slovenia. In the final, Katerina will meet with Valeria Savinykh.
