Lesya Tsurenko will start the selection against Japanese Naito
Ukrainian tennis players recognized their opponents in Australian Open 2023 qualifiers.
At the start of the selection Lesya Tsurenko play against Japanese Yuki Naito. Last year, Tsurenko defeated the representative of Japan in the final qualification for Roland Garros.
For the third year in a row, the Ukrainian starts her performance in Melbourne with a qualification. In 2021, Tsurenko lost in the final round of selection, and last season she made it to the main draw and lost to future champion Ashleigh Barty.
