The Ukrainian beat Stefan Kozlov from the USA in straight sets
Ukrainian tennis player Alexey Krutykh started with a win in qualifying Australian Open 2023.
Krutykh defeated the American Stefan Kozlov in two sets. In the first set, tennis players exchanged breaks in the first games, after which they kept their feeds until the score was 5:5. In the eleventh game, Krutykh made another break and successfully filed for a set.
In the second installment, the Ukrainian made two breaks on the opponent’s serve and did not allow him to get to the break points in his games.
Note that the 22-year-old Krutykh made his debut at the Grand Slam tournament.
In the second round of selection, the opponent of the first racket of Ukraine will be the winner of the match Filip Misolich (Austria, 32) – Gianluca Mager (Italy).
