Ukrainian gave the opponent only three games
Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko confidently passed the second round of qualification on Australian Open 2023.
It took the Ukrainian tennis player a little over an hour to defeat Alena Bolshova from Spain. During this time, Tsurenko made four breaks and won back both of her opponent’s break points.
In the final round of selection, Lesya will play against the Frenchwoman Leoli Zhanzhan, seeded under the ninth number.
Previously, the Ukrainian took part in the Australian Open three times and each time successfully overcame it, having won all 10 of her qualifying matches during this time.
Recall that in the opening game of the Australian Open-2023 qualification, Tsurenko defeated Yuki Naito from Japan.
Ukrainian tennis players Daria Snigur and Katarina Zavatskaya also passed the first round of qualification for the Australian Open-2023.
