Ukraine will have its representative in the main draw of the Australian Open men’s tournament. The first racket of our country, Alexei Krutykh, managed to win the qualification for the tournament.
In the final selection, the Ukrainian was opposed by an experienced representative of the US, Denis Kudla. The American entered the game better and took the first set 6:3.
However, Alexey did not give up, and in the ninth game of the third set he managed to take a break and took the second game for himself 6:4. With the same score, the Ukrainian won the decisive third set.
It will be remembered that Krutykh took part in the selection for the Grand Slam tournament for the first time and immediately reached the main draw of the tournament.
