Swiss tennis player Belinda Bencic won the last ticket to the semi-finals of the Adelaide tournament, beating Caroline Garcia .
Bencic beat the Frenchwoman, ranked 4th in the WTA rankings, in three matches in 1h55. Garcia filed 11 times, the Swiss – 9.
In the semifinals, Bencic will play with Russian Veronika Kudermetova, who was previously stronger than American Daniella Collins. The second pair of semi-finalists were Daria Kasatkina and Paula Badosa.
