Ukrainian beat Leolia Zhanzhan from France in straight sets
Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko entered mainstream Australian Open 2023.
The Ukrainian beat the ninth seed Leolia Zhanzhan in straight sets. In the first game, the opponents often took other people’s serves, Lesya finally managed to keep her own, winning the decisive game “at zero”. In the second set, the Ukrainian also dominated the reception, and at the same time played more reliably on her own serve, defeating her opponent.
Recall that in the opening game of the Australian Open-2023 qualification, Tsurenko defeated Yuki Naito from Japan. In the second round, the Ukrainian easily passed Alena Bolshova from Spain.
Lesya will play in the main draw of the Australian Open for the 12th time. For the fourth time, the Ukrainian has successfully qualified for the Australian Major.
