Krutykh lost to Shvartsman and left the Australian Open

The match lasted almost four hours.

Ukrainian tennis player, the first racket of the country Alexey Krutykh finished speaking at Australian Open-2023.

The Ukrainian made his debut in the main draw of the Grand Slam tournament. In the first round, Krutykh lost to the 26th racket of the world – Diego Schwartzman from Argentina.

The meeting lasted three hours and 57 minutes. The Ukrainian left the second game, which Krutykh took on a tiebreak (8:6). The fate of the meeting was decided in the fourth set, where Alexey lost the tiebreak (5:7).

Thus, from the representatives of Ukraine at the Australian Open tennis championship, three athletes remained – Katerina Beindl, Marta Kostyuk and Angelina Kalinina.
