Katerina made it to the third round for the first time at the Grand Slam tournaments
Ukrainian tennis player Katerina Beindl came out in third round Australian Open-2023.
In the match of the 1/32 finals, Katerina defeated Cathy McNally from the USA in two sets in 1 hour and 45 minutes. The Ukrainian confidently won the first game, taking two submissions from her opponent. In the second set, Beindl lost 4:5 and 5:6, but managed to switch the game to a tie-break, which she won by converting the first match point.
30-year-old Katerina made it to the third round for the first time at the Grand Slam tournaments. In the next round of the tournament, Katerina will meet the winner of the match Anna Bondar (Hungary) – Elena Ostapenko (Latvia, 17).
Earlier, Angelina Kalinina made her way to the third round of the Australian Open 2023, who defeated Petra Kvitova. Today, another Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk will play in the second round of the Australian Open 2023.
