Martha has won every match in Melbourne so far
Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk won the match first round doubles on Australian Open 2023.
Together with Elena-Gabriela Rousse from Romania, Kostyuk defeated the duet Danielle Collins/Heather Watson (USA/UK) in straight sets. In the first game, Kostyuk and Ruse lost 1:2, but managed to take two serves from their opponents and won 6:4. Martha’s pair won the second set very confidently, giving up only two games.
In the second round, Marta and Elena-Gabriela will meet the winners of the match Nicole Melikar-Martinez/Ellen Perez (USA/Australia, 9) – Ekaterina Alexandrova/Vivian Geisen (-/Germany).
Earlier, Angelina Kalinina also reached the second round in doubles at the Australian Open-2023.
In singles, Kostyuk made it to the third round, beating Olivia Gadetsky from Australia.
