Kostyuk lost to Pegula without a chance and ended her performance in singles at the Australian Open-2023

Marta won only two games in the entire match.

Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk completed her performance in singles on Australian Open 2023.

In the third round, the Ukrainian without a chance lost to the third seeded Jessica Pegula from the USA. For the whole match, Kostyuk managed to win only two games, losing in the first set 0:6.

The Ukrainian failed to improve her personal record in Melbourne, having played at the third round stage for the third time. She made it to that stage this year by beating Australia’s Olivia Gadetsky.

Recall that the best achievement of Kostyuk in the Grand Slam tournaments is the fourth round at Roland Garros in 2021.

Martha will continue to compete at the Australian Open in doubles with Romanian Elena-Gabriela Ruse.

Pegula in the fourth round will meet with Barbora Kreychikova from the Czech Republic, who today beat our Angelina Kalinina.
