Athletistic/Tennis. Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev won the Australian Open third round. In three sets he defeated Briton Daniel Evans – 6:4, 6:2, 6:3. The meeting, which took place at the Melbourne Park arena, lasted two hours and eleven minutes.
Rublev went ten innings end to end, double faulted and sold four of fifteen break points. The British tennis player has three aces and not a single break point made.
In the 1/8 finals of the Australian Open, Rublev, 25, will play with the winner of the pair Hugo Humbert – Holger Rune. The Australian Open takes place this year from January 16-28.
