Ukrainian paired with a Romanian tennis player Elena-Gabriela Ruse in three sets, she beat the duet of Nicole Melikar-Martinez from the USA and Ellen Perez from Australia. Marta and Elena-Gabriela lost the first set. In the second set of tie-breaks, Melikar-Martinez and Perez earned a match point, but failed to convert it.
