Russian tennis player Alexander Shevchenko became the winner of the Challenger Series tournament in Tenerife, Spain.
In the final, the 22-year-old Russian, seeded under the fifth number, defeated Austrian Sebastian Ofner – 7:5, 6:2. The meeting lasted 1h48.
Shevchenko is ranked 157th in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings. For him, this title was the second in the Challengers, last year he won the tournament in Bratislava.
