The steward confused the Serbian flag with the Russian flag and wanted to remove it, as the Australian Open had previously banned the wearing of the Russian flag in stadiums.
“You racists! It’s the Serbian flag! Serbia is the center of the Balkans in Europe. Do you know such a country? – said the fan, on whom the Serbian flag was thrown.
