A three-set duel with Ana Konyukh ended in two tie-breaks
Ukrainian tennis player Katerina Beindl lost in tournament qualification WTA 250 in french Lyon.
The Ukrainian in a tense three-set duel lost to Ana Konyukh from Croatia. Katerina lost the first game without a chance, only managing to get away from a dry defeat. However, she won the second in a tie-break.
In the decisive set, Beindl led 4-2, but missed the lead. On the second consecutive tie-break, Katerina did not have a game, and she lost the match.
Recall that at the Australian Open-2023 Beindl reached the third round, where she lost to Elena Ostapenko from Latvia. The next tournament, in which the Ukrainian plans to perform, will be held in Linz from February 6 to 12.
