Russian tennis player Erika Andreeva qualified for the second round of the Lyon tournament (France).
Andreeva, who entered the main draw thanks to qualification, played in the first round with her compatriot Anna Blinkova (8th seed), who refused to continue the fight with the score 0:4 in the third set. Blinkova turned out to be stronger in the first game (7:6), Andreeva won the second – 6:4.
The 18-year-old Russian’s next opponent will be determined based on the results of the showdown between Jasmine Paolini (Italy) and Rebeca Masharova (Spain).
