Ukrainian in a tense match defeated American Toby Alex Kodat
Ukrainian tennis player Ilya Marchenko made it to the second round of the series tournament ATP Challenger in Cleveland (USA).
Ilya in a tense duel in three sets defeated qualifier Toby Alex Kodat. Marchenko won the first set, while the American was left with the second set. In the decisive set, the Ukrainian was again stronger.
Marchenko spent almost two and a half hours on the court. During this time, Ilya filed right through six times and made the same number of double faults.
The Ukrainian for the second time this year overcame the first round of the Challenger. In the next match, Ilya will meet with the fifth seed of the tournament Alexander Kovacevic from the USA.
