Ukrainian confidently goes on the tournament grid
Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko defeated Anna Kalinskaya in the second round of the WTA 250 tournament in Hua Hin (Thailand).
The meeting lasted two hours and 23 minutes. In the first set, Tsurenko scored a rout (6:0), but in the second game, the Ukrainian lost in a tiebreak (3:7). In the final set, Lesya gave two serves to Kalinskaya, but she managed to make three breaks – 6:4.
In the quarterfinals, Tsurenko can play with his compatriot Dayana Yastremskaya. To do this, the Ukrainian woman needs to beat the German Tatiana Maria in the second round.
Recall that Lesya started the event with a victory over Ysaline Bonaventure from Belgium. It took the Ukrainian athlete three games and more than two hours on the court to pass.
