Athletistic/Tennis. Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina published an article dedicated to the 2024 Olympics. Svitolina stressed that she did not agree with the IOC’s initiative to consider the possibility of admitting Russian athletes to the Games of 2022.
Remember that the 2024 Olympics will take place in Paris. IOC officials have admitted national teams from Russia and Belarus could travel to the French capital under a neutral flag.
“The Olympic Games are the greatest dream and greatest privilege of athletes. They are the greatest platform for inclusion and diversity in sport, catching the attention of the whole world. In this spirit, we must respect banning the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes, sending a strong signal to the whole world that we are united in the sanctions imposed against Russia and Belarus,” Svitolina wrote.
