Ukrainian performs in tandem with Japanese Makoto Ninomiya
Ukrainian tennis player Hope Kichenok lost in the semi-finals doubles tournament WTA 250 in French Lyon.
In the semi-finals, Kichenok, paired with Japanese Makoto Ninomiya, lost in two sets to the duet Olga Danilovich / Aleksandra Panova (Serbia/-).
The key in the first game was the second game. Kichenok and Ninomiya gave their pitch and could not catch up with their rivals. In the second set, the Ukrainian and the Japanese gave up two of their serves and lost without a chance.
Recall that in the quarterfinals of the tournament in Lyon, the Ukrainian-Japanese tandem dealt with Ana Bogdan and Danka Kovinich.
Next week, Kichenok and Ninomiya are announced together for the WTA 250 tournament in Linz.
