Three Russian tennis players have successfully overcome the first qualifying round of the WTA tournament in Linz, Austria.
Camilla Rakhimova won a confident victory over the representative of Austria Veronica Bokor, who is not in the top thousand of the world rankings. The Russian won the first set with a score of 6:4, then won the second set “to zero”.
Previously Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova who missed most of last season, also beat Victoria Kuzhmova of Slovakia in straight sets, and Varvara Gracheva dominated another Austrian tennis player Zinja Kraus.
