Russian tennis player Romain Safiullin rose from 100th to 82nd place in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings, an updated version of which is published on the organization’s website.
On February 5, Safiullin became the winner of the Challenger Series tournament in Koblenz, Germany, defeating Canadian Vasek Pospisil in the final. For a 25-year-old Russian, this is the highest post of his career.
Aslan Karatsev moved up three lines and became the 95th racket in the world. Andrey Rublev (5th place), Daniil Medvedev (12th) and Karen Khachanov (13th) retained their positions.
